Comment spam increases

Lately, comment spam attacks have gotten to be pretty severe. They don’t happen often, but the spammers seem to post 15-30 comments at once. I wonder sometimes if the spam has increased because of the lack of activity here. I’ve been so busy both at work and at home (we’re just starting to remodel our kitchen) that I haven’t had time to think about interesting subjects.
